Tigers for Tomorrow: Teens Making a Difference

Feb 07, 2023

Our generation is one tasked with changing the world. Even as high schoolers, we know we are never too young to make a real impact on our community. That’s why we are so excited to participate in the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Student Visionaries of the Year Campaign.

Our team of service-minded Saint Xavier students has taken initiative to work toward a world without blood cancers by supporting LLS’s incredible platforms:

  • Funding cutting-edge research leading to breakthroughs in immunotherapy, genomics, and personalized medicine that improves and saves patients’ lives.

  • Providing education and support for blood cancer patients and their families, including personalized, one-on-one support.

  • Mobilizing thousands of advocates to drive policy changes that accelerate the development of cancer treatments and break down barriers to care.

Cancer has touched all of us in one way or another, including ourselves. We all see the devastating effects it has on the world and the people we love, and there’s nothing that we want to see more than a future without blood cancers. We need your help to reach our collective goal of $65,000 in donations to LLS, a number which we are already surging towards. Please consider joining our fight against cancer by making a donation. All donations are fully tax-deductible. Consider telling your friends about our campaign if you think they might be interested.

Your efforts can help ensure that this generation will be the last to see cancer.

Thanks,

William Hamilton, Nico Sanchez, Will James, and the Tigers for Tomorrow Team
